Last night I took my first Pilates class in 3 months. Needless to say, I'm pretty sore. Back in June I found out that the gym I had just recently joined was going to be closing (rent was too high). I decided not to join anotherone , for various reasons, but I do miss Pilates & Yoga. It's a shame everywhere is so expensive. And crowded.

Monday after our return from Vegas was a chance for Jeff & I to not only catch up on lost sleep, but to get some stuff done around the house. The week before we had purchased a new refrigerator from Home Depot & scheduled for delivery Monday afternoon. There was really nothing wrong with our old fridge, it just didn't have the capacity we were looking for. We also really like the freezer on the bottom models & decided to get one. If you know of anyone looking for a 23cf side-by-side, let me know!
After delivery of the refrigerator we installed a storm door we had picked up that morning. We debated on whether to install it ourselves or not and ultimately decided to give it a shot. While it wasn't difficult at all, it was time consuming. It's nice to be able to open the front door and let the afternoon light in. Gizmo likes looking outside too.
As if those 2 projects weren't enough, last Saturday I got a wild urge to paint something. I went to Lowes by myself (never a good idea!) & picked up paint for my craft room & for the hall bathroom. Yes, the same bathroom I painted orange not long ago. I had been contemplating for a while what color I wanted, and when I was in Lowes I found a great purple I really liked. Jeff just had to go and point out that it's very similar to the purple in Jennifer & Chris' guest bath. I didn't mean to copy you guys, honest!
My next project is my craft room. The color I picked is...interesting. Not at all what I had been thinking about, it was a very spur of the moment choice. I'll post some pictures once I get it painted.
We're still waiting on the railings for our deck. I can't wait to finally have that project completed!
