June 8, 2004It only hurts when I breatheFor the last 4 or 5 days I've had a headache that just won't quit. Some hours are better than others, but today was definitely the worst. I can't think of anything that changed recently, no major stressors or change in eating habits, I can't figure out what's causing this constant pain. Besides a possible lack of sleep, does anyone have any ideas?

Wouldn't be surprised to hear that you're getting blocked up in your head with allergies or something. (?) Also, are you sleeping less than before, or just the usual lack of sleep that you were getting before? A change or drop in sleep amounts could probably do that to ya. I know when my head starts aching that it's time to hit the sack. (nice title, btw) Posted by: B on June 8, 2004 3:26 AMA few folks at work are sick right now. My guess is also allergies. Weather.com says there is a high level of tree pollen right now. Posted by: Jimmy on June 8, 2004 9:26 AMYou're not eating enough cookies. Eat more cookies, and your headache will go away. :) Posted by: Chris R. on June 8, 2004 12:54 PMI've never had any problems with sinuses or allergies. I'm not having any other symptoms, like clogged nasal passages, watery eyes, etc. In fact, except for the headaches, I'm completely fine. I don't get it. And Chris, I've had WAAAY too many cookiea lately! ;) It could just be a tension headache if the muscles in your neck and shoulder are tense it will give you a hell of a headache. Try rubbing some ice up and down the side of you neck, that has always helped me and I suffer from migraines. Posted by: Andy on June 8, 2004 5:39 PMI have noticed today that my neck is kinda sore to stiff. And that of course makes my shoulders stiff. Maybe I'll try that ice!
