July 30, 2002Monday Mission 7/29/02

A little late, but nonetheless...PromoGuy's Monday Mission

1. What is your favorite snack food? Does anyone you know have weird tastes in snacks?

I'm not sure I have a favorite, I like too many. Way too many to list here! And I can't think of anyone with weird tastes in snacks. I mean, what's really weird? I believe anything can become a snack food.

2. Ever caught yourself saying "well it can't get any worse" and it does? What's the story there?

Actually no, I can't think of a single time.

3. I have a super-short attention span, and it always was my downfall in school, especially math class. What's your attention span like and how has it served you?

My attention span varies depending on what I'm doing. If it's something I'm really into, and enjoying, I could be there for hours. Otherwise, my mind drifts and I start to look at other things.

4. Do you believe in the existence of extra-terrestrials?

Not sure on that one yet.

5. What do you think of the whole "crop circles" phenomenon?

I don't know that much about them, but I wonder how they can just appear and no one saw a thing..fishy.

6. Ever had a time where you begin visiting with someone you don't know all that well and just find you "click" like long lost pals? Tell me about how that came to happen, and who was it? What kind of things do you have in common?

Umm..no. It usually takes me a while to open up to anyone.

BONUS: How can I forget you, girl?

That's right! How could you!?

1. What is your favorite snack food? Does anyone you know have weird tastes in snacks?

Banana bread, Rice Krispie treats, and Eggo buttermilk waffles WITH Breyers Vanilla Bean ice cream. Sacrilicious!

2. Ever caught yourself saying "well it can't get any worse" and it does? What's the story there?

This has been constantly happening to me since September 10, 1974.

3. I have a super-short attention span, and it always was my downfall in school, especially math class. What's your attention span like and how has it served you?

I really never thought about my attention span. What were we talking about just now?

4. Do you believe in the existence of extra-terrestrials?

Absolutely! Quote from the movie, Contact (discussing the probability of extra-terrestrial life) "I don't know, Sparks. But I guess I'd say if it is just us... seems like an awful waste of space."

5. What do you think of the whole "crop circles" phenomenon?

I don't know about this one. I lean towards the whole "phenomenon" being a hoax.

6. Ever had a time where you begin visiting with someone you don't know all that well and just find you "click" like long lost pals? Tell me about how that came to happen, and who was it? What kind of things do you have in common?

I can't recall the last time I "clicked" with someone, but I tend to get along with new people without a whole lot of forced effort. I enjoy meeting new people, so I try to be as friendly as can be. And then they get to know the REAL me! Bwah ha haaaa....

BONUS: How can I forget you, girl?

How can I forget to ignore these bonus questions?

1. What is your favorite snack food? Does anyone you know have weird tastes in snacks?

Have no favorite. I eat like a goat. Anything. Old shoes. Cans. Milk containers. Grass. etc.

2. Ever caught yourself saying "well it can't get any worse" and it does? What's the story there?

Just about every morning recently, I've been reciting this to the mirror. ...And yet the rash keeps on growing. (See what I did there? Mis-direction baby!)

3. I have a super-short attention span, and it always was my downfall in school, especially math class. What's your attention span like and how has it served you?

Over the years, my attention span has gotten bett Oh look! A kitty!

4. Do you believe in the existence of extra-terrestrials?

Sure. Why not.

5. What do you think of the whole "crop circles" phenomenon?

It's no phenomenon. It's been proven to be a hoax. Walking on boards in circular patterns can mow down "crop circles" within 45 minutes and without the use of electronics or powerful (loud) equipment. And when you're on a 600 acre farm, it would be pretty easy to stay away from the neighbors while you do it.

6. Ever had a time where you begin visiting with someone you don't know all that well and just find you "click" like long lost pals? Tell me

This happens often, but mainly with friends I haven't talked to in a while. It takes them a few minutes to remember that at one time, we were more than aquaintences and that they did trust me with personal info that I still remember. Then they warm up pretty fast and it's like time never skipped a beat. There are three young ladies who I do this with all the time, and I sincerely hope I end up spending the rest of my life with (at least) one of them. heh.

BONUS: How can I forget you, girl?

I walk along those city streets you used to walk along with me

And every step I take recalls how much in love we used to be

How can I forget you, girl

When there is always something there to remind me?

Always something there to remind me

I was born to love you

And I will never be free

You'll always be a part of me

Whoa-ooo-ohhh-oh

If you should find you miss the sweet and tender love we used to share

Just go back to the places where we used to go

And I'll be there

How can I forget you, girl

When there is always something there to remind me?

Always something there to remind me

I was born to love you

And I will never be free

You'll always be a part of me

Whoa-ooo-ohhh-oh

Whoa-oh-ooo-ohhh

If you should find you miss the sweet and tender love we used to share

Just come back to the places where we used to go

And I'll be there

How can I forget you, girl

When there is always something there to remind me?

Always something there to remind me

I was born to love you

And I will never be free

You'll always be a part of me

I would like to preface my answers by saying I just learned how to do this whole bold thing....so be proud of me!!

1. What is your favorite snack food? Does anyone you know have weird tastes in snacks?

Right now, it is Strawberry Splash Gushers--I can eat one box at a time, but it's okay, because they are "a good source of calcium" and "made with real fruit."

2. Ever caught yourself saying "well it can't get any worse" and it does? What's the story there?

Lately, it's been at 11am when it is already 90 degrees and I think, "It can't get any worse," than the temp. reads over 100 after noon. Damn you, Mother Nature!

3. I have a super-short attention span, and it always was my downfall in school, especially math class. What's your attention span like and how has it served you?

I'm sorry, what?

4. Do you believe in the existence of extra-terrestrials?

Hell yeah, haven't you ever seen X-Files?

5. What do you think of the whole "crop circles" phenomenon?

I think I'll have a better perspective on this once I see Mel Gibson's new movie. Okay Okay you're thinking, "she bases her decisions on tv and movies, what a quack!" but the Mel Gibson movie is based on a true story, and yes, X-Files is fictitious but I can't NOT believe Moulder!

6. Ever had a time where you begin visiting with someone you don't know all that well and just find you "click" like long lost pals? Tell me about how that came to happen, and who was it? What kind of things do you have in common?

Actually, that's how my friend Natalie and I got so close. We began pledging our fraternity together, and at the first meeting, we sat next to each other and immediately became friends.

BONUS: How can I forget you, girl?

I love you Billy Joel!
