September 18, 2002Too much too do!

Hi all! Sorry for not writing much lately, I've just been really busy at work and by the time I get home, don't really want to be on the computer a whole lot. These last couple weeks of September are going to be pretty busy for me. I'm sure all of you have read on Jeff's site about the progress of the house. It's amazing how fast they're getting stuff done. A week ago we didn't even have drywall, and now we have cabinets and lights! They should start on the hardwood floor next (I think)

Isn't it funny how you can wake up Monday morning an think it's going ot be a slow week, and by the afternoon have plans for every day?

Tonight I have to see a lady about a dress. Ok, more specifically I have to see a lady about my bridesmaid's dress for my best friedn, Christina's wedding. It's slightly large and needs some major help. Oh, and did I mention I need it by next Wednesday? Yeeehh...

Next Thursday I'm leaving for Kentucky (for the wedding on Saturday). It's going to be a long, lonely drive as Jeff has to stay for the final walk though of the house on Friday (9/27). I can't believe she's getting married. I guess that leaves only a couple of us (from high school) who aren't.

Sunday I have to turn around and drive right back so I can be awake Monday (9/30) for the closing on the house. Yikes!!

Ok, since I have tried three times now to finish this entry, I think I'm going to have to abandon it now. I have too much to do. I'm trying to get a laptop ready for our staff meeting tomorrow. I have to load our department webpage onto the machine so we can look at it since this school is so behind in technology that we don't have working ethernet jacks in the conference room. Grr...pain in my ass.

Can't you just ask your friend to reschedule her wedding for another weekend so you can focus on your new home??

So you're coming back from Arkansas with a friend married and you'll arrive with a purchased home? Does it get any cooler than that!?

Ugh. That's a long drive. Let me know if you need any road music.

I've got some John Mayer here! :)~

I'm so used to hearing about long drives to Arkansas. I read it and went right over it. Ugh. Damn, this cursed exhaustion!

Kentucky's not so bad. You could be there in 8 hours, right?

Try 10 or 11 hours

Any stops? Or straight through?

Stops as in, "look at this" touristy stuff, no.

Stops as in gas and keeping myself awake, yes.
