Ok, so we finally saw X Men. Happy?
I thought it was pretty good. I like the story line and all, but it didn't grip me as much as I was expecting. Too much hype I guess.
We've got the final layout of the remaining stones figured out and hopefully we can finish it up tonight. Depends on when Jeff gets home from his house call. Every nice day and he's got something else to do. Hmp.
Oh yeh, the sun is out! Woo Hoo!!

Not being a comic book fan, I was initially impressed with the effects but thought that a lot of the lines were kind of cheesy.
"use your powers.." and the whole "you know what happens to a toad when he's struck by lightning" thing. Just dumb. Some of the dialogue was just so lame.
Beyond that though, you have this really neat power struggle between a bad guy (who really is a good guy, just coming from the background of seeing what happens when people are grouped as 'different' or 'inferior') and another good guy, who is his best friend, but sees the same struggle in a different light.
When I got into that perspective, it made watching the movie SO much more interesting. After seeing it again, I was already aching for the sequel.
